Tourist Statistics – 2005 (Provisional)

 TOURIST STATISTICS-2005

In 2005, Foreign tourist arrivals to Kerala has crossed 3.46 lakhs. During this period
foreign tourists arrival to the State is estimated as 346499. Foreign Exchange earnings has
also recorded a growth of 22.54% during this period.
Total revenue (including direct and indirect) generated from tourism during 2005 is
estimated as Rs.7738 crores, showing an increase of 13.31% comparing to the last year
figure.

The month wise Foreign and Domestic tourist arrivals are given in Table 1.
